Don & amalyn
Don and Amalyn’s wedding invitation was inspired by the heartfelt romance of Kundiman, a traditional Filipino love song, and the nostalgic beauty of old-school harana—courtship serenades sung beneath a window. Designed as a folio-style invitation, the piece features a window motif reminiscent of ancestral Filipino homes, accented with elegant calligraphy of lyrics from their theme song. Inside, layered die-cut cards unfold like a visual narrative, revealing watercolor illustrations that tell their story: a couple sharing a quiet moment under a tree, the wedding venue itself, and the iconic view of Taal Volcano visible from the celebration—bringing together culture, romance, and place in a deeply meaningful modern Filipiniana design.
